A general pest control visit is what most Mernda homes need once a year: spiders on the eaves and fences, ants trailing off the garden beds, a few cockroaches under the sink. Our tech treats the outside first, working the slab edge, weep holes, eaves, gutters, window surrounds and the garage, then moves inside to the kitchen, laundry, bathrooms and the roof void access. Cockroach work inside is gel bait, not spray, so there is no smell and nothing to clear out of the cupboards.
For the estates across Mernda, Doreen and Wollert, the first general treatment after moving in is usually the big one, because the disturbed ground and fresh landscaping bring everything out at once. After that a spring visit normally keeps things quiet. Older homes near the river and the acreage blocks in Yan Yean and Whittlesea tend to need the rodent side looked at too, and we do that on the same visit.
